I heard about the possible USPS rate change last fall and it appears that the increases became effective on January 21, 2018. I have not seen a formal announcement from the USPS so in the meantime, here is what the increases most likely look like via the USPS website from 2017:

Please note that first class letters will increase $0.01 from $0.49 to $0.50 and that there is an increase for flat rate packages, which I know will affect many business like mine even though it is not a huge change. If you run an e-commerce site, please double check that your shipping apps/partners are up-to-date!
